the day before Christmas. The shopping’s all done. The apartment is
so aromatic from baking cookies and fresh apples and oranges sitting in a
bowl on the dining room table.
Kitties are napping on the back of the couch being warmed by incoming sunbeams. They’re fat and sassy, well fed to boot.
My friends and Loved ones, I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas.
wish you the dreams of your hearts. My one reason for enjoying this
Christmas Holiday is that Jesus came from the Heaven’s above, became one
of us to live, serve, heal, then die so that we all could have that
salvation that he brought to us freely from his heart to ours.
This is Christ’s Birthday and I celebrate knowing that one day we will all celebrate together as one with Him our Lord.
Happy Birthday Jesus, I’m waiting for your return.
don’t know about you, but I’m worn out! lol I’ve been racking my
brains trying to figure out what to fix for the Christmas dinner I’ve
been invited to at my friends Mike and Faith. The theme is “finger
foods” so I’m not sure if the world famous “Green Bean Casserole” would
be a good idea! lol
no snow. What little we got the other day has melted away. It’s cold
as all get out, but it just doesn’t feel like Christmas yet. I’m not
looking forward to the snow, I’d rather not have to shovel or sweep off
the ramp, but there really needs to be a little snow to give a person
the Christmas feeling! How about just on the trees and bushes? he, he
late, 12:16 in the a.m. I believe I’ve gone into hibernation mode. Up
late, sleep in, lots of layers and aphgans laying around to keep warm.
If I didn’t know any better, I’ve got brown bear blood in my veins.
Here’s hoping you all have a great up coming week!
I should probably work for the
Weather Channel as I give a lot of local weather reports! rofl Yeah,
well it’s a fridig(lol) 20 degrees out there right now. 4:40 a.m. eh,
Yup, I’m still up. I just added a bunch more fabby
places to visit for Scrap kits, masks, tutorials and all sorts of
freebies like these wonderful Cluster frames I found over at Lesia’s.
She’s on the list, go check her out! I’m talking about my Taggers Paradise page folks!
I know most everyone puts all their fav links over on the side as an
afterthought and hopefully you catch them, but I wanted my favorite hang
outs to get the entire page so your not trying to read the middle and
catch the side at the same time. I don’t know about ya’ll, but my eyes
don’t multi task very well. lol There are some that have 2
blinkies/banners because they also have secondary sites for tuts and
stuff so yeah, there’s another addy to follow. Okies, I’m outa here. I have 3
tired kitties staring at me waiting for me to hit the trail. Adios my
friends, great weekend to you all! Hugs and Love,
Well the hiatus didn’t last too
long, not quite a day! lol I felt kind of in the spirit today so
thought I would brighten up the blog with a Christmas-sie theme. Nice,
eh? I like it. It’s messed with only a couple of things like links and
needed to add a couple widget things so I could show favorite places
but all in all, I’m satisfied with it. We’re having a heat wave today.
It’s 35 degrees. Then tonight 25 and we’re getting some snow.
Probably just a dusting, but enough to sweep off the ramp. I am not
opening a ski resort, thank you very much. OMG you have got to go over to my friend Sherry’s Blog and get this gorgeous tag! Click on tag to go there. Sherry’s offering it as a WWO! Isn’t it gorgeous??? Of course it is! Go get one with your name on it! Have a great day! Hugs and Love, Rhon
No, I don’t know how long “for a while” is. I’m waiting on a call
back from the Doctor who’s hopefully going to do my gallbladder surgery
soon. The achy/painy feeling is daily now and I’m afraid to eat
anything. ugh Back on the Ramen Noodle diet probably forever. Blectk!
So not sure when the next post might be.
so proud of the Packers! Talk about a great game! From the first
touchdown for New York to the tie breaker by Green Bay at the end, it
was nail biting, hollering, and yes, now I’m unable to talk. lol 12 and 0
Way to Go! Bravo!
Love ya Green Bay, I’m your fan forever! Cheesehead Grandma all the way!
I couldn’t ask for a more exciting game than this one! Thanks guys!
deepest gratitude, a humble bow, warmest handshake and/or hug. I’m
proud to say that I’m an American as my grandfather Shafer served in
WW1, my Dad was a Sergeant in the Air Force during WW2 and my cousin
Jerry’s in the Coast Guard. God bless every Veteran on today’s
Veteran’s Day. May you always be honored and treated with utmost
respect from everyone.
Thank you Sherry for this beautiful banner in honoring all of our hero’s.
you planning for it yet? I’m thinkin’ pumpkin pie with whip cream on
top, juicy turkey, tons of stuffing and mashed potatoes, those little
sweet pickles, black olives, soft warm rolls, and sweet potato pie!
Sherry made me the coolest banner too so I thought I’d share it here!

June 28th I ended up in the hospital with gallbladder problems and a
case of very painful Pancreatitus. I still can’t believe all the tests
they had to do before finding out what was actually wrong. The
Pancreatitus was masquerading as heart problems. I spent eight days
starving because with pancreatitus you can’t eat so it can resolve
itself. I was on an IV that provided liquids and medicines the entire
time. There was no sleeping as I was in so much pain, there was no
comfortable way to lay or sit or anything. I felt like a mexican
jumping bean in my hospital bed.
Finally home, I was put on a liquid diet of bouillon cubes and ramen
noodles and Lipton cup o’ soup until the doctor’s follow up trip. Then
he said I could have mashed potatoes w/o butter, rice, white meat
chicken and the other white meat like pork loin. This is my diet until
my gall bladder gets removed which isn’t going to happen until after my
next Cat Scan on August 29th. ugh. Then he’ll probably schedule the
surgery so that he’ll have someone to assist him with the camera while
he does the surgery. Fun stuff. Right.
I missed out on the 4th of July being in the hospital. The rest of
my summer is filled with boring, boring taking it easy so I don’t upset
and cause my pancreas to act up again.
Oh. The time I spent in the hospital killed my lovely little garden
that had so many yummie veggies and flowers. With nothing being watered
during the hottest part of the summer, everything shrivelled up and
died. I was so depressed about. But then there’s always next year and I
have already started planning for it. I pray to God that I don’t have
any health issues next summer and get my happy garden!
Well Hi, I guess we’re all done migrating from Windows Live. lol Not bad, WordPress is very cool!
It’s a great day today! First Tuesday in 2011. It’s awful windy, so
am hibernating until Spring! I am so not a Winter person. Nope,
sorry, never liked the cold, and now it’s even worse with my being
older. If God had wanted me to enjoy Winter, He’d of made me a Polar
The kittens, Tobey & Buttons are now six months old. They’ve had
their shots for the year, and are doing fabulous! They are both
bundles of energy and fun! Manx to the max!
Not much to comment on or about right now, this is my first WP post
so boring, boring…lol I need to d/l photos off my camera then I’ll
update on fur baby pics.
